Our Expression workflow enables comprehensive analysis of protein expression levels across hundres or thousands of designed protein variants. Using high-throughput cell-free expression systems, we provide detailed characterization of the synthesis yield across different expression conditions.

Protein types

You can test pretty much any type of protein, from small peptides, miniproteins, natural ligands, or antibody formats such as Fabs. For information on how to design your proteins so that they express well, check out our guide here.

Multiple expression systems

We currently offer E. coli- and Yeast-based cell-free expression systems. You can choose the system that best suits your protein or compare expression yields across both platforms.

Expression screening and yield quantification

We offer two different ways to quantify the expression yield: a quick screening mode using our split-GFP method and a more detailed yield quantification mode using Capillary Electrophoresis and a Quant-iT assay.

Run SEC on demand

Optionally, we can run SEC to further characterize the expressed proteins for monomeric or oligomeric states.
